Bighead Mid presents a pale gold pour with excellent clarity and a bright, lively character. A white head forms with good initial density and fine retention, displaying crisp lacing against the glass as it settles. The carbonation appears well-integrated, lending visual liveliness to the body.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with clean, fresh cereal grain—typical of the well-attenuated malted barley base. German noble hops contribute a gentle herbal character with subtle vegetal undertones, remaining restrained and balanced. No aggressive acetaldehyde or sulfur notes; the overall impression is crisp and straightforward.

Entry is clean and crisp with a light, dry body that drinks considerably lighter than its ABV suggests. Mid-palate reveals a touch of bready malt sweetness before a gentle herbal bitterness emerges, providing structure without dominance. The fermentation is very clean, allowing the delicate interplay between malt and hop character to come through.
