Fox Leap presents a luminous orange-red body with excellent clarity and a delicate pink-tinged head. The foam structure displays fine retention and gentle lacing around the glass. The color intensity reflects the marriage of Belgian dark candi sugar influence and extended cherry maturation.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with tart cherry and jammy stone fruit character, underpinned by warm malty notes of dried fruit and subtle toffee sweetness. Oak and almond emerge as secondary layers, with bright lemon peel citrus and a restrained funky complexity from wild fermentation adding depth and intrigue.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with bright cherry tartness balanced against deep malty richness from molasses and dark candi sugar. Mid-palate reveals layered complexity: almond nuttiness, lemon zest acidity, and a light oak influence create a multi-dimensional experience. The low bitterness allows the fruit and wood to dominate, while restrained wild yeast character adds subtle savory notes.

The finish is clean and dry, with lingering cherry tartness and a subtle oak dryness on the palate. Aftertaste carries echoes of almond and lemon peel without heaviness.
