◎ Aussehen

Brilliant golden hue with excellent clarity and fine white head that clings to the glass with persistent lacing. The carbonation is notably high, visible as a steady stream of fine bubbles rising through the body. The overall presentation is bright and inviting, befitting a classic abbey ale.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with herbal and green fruit notes, particularly passion fruit, lending a fresh character. Honey and light biscuit emerge in the middle register, underpinned by the clean, spicy signature of the house yeast. These elements integrate seamlessly, creating an aromatic profile that is complex without being overwhelming.

◐ Geschmack

The palate is medium-bodied with a soft malt foundation of honey and biscuit that carries through from the aroma. Subtle herbal and citrus notes provide definition without aggressive bitterness; the 18 IBU integration is restrained and elegant. The yeast contributes a gentle peppery warmth that builds gradually through the mid-palate.

◑ Abgang

The finish is notably clean and dry, with any residual sweetness giving way quickly to a light, warming alcohol presence. A faint peppery character persists as the beer fades, leaving no heavy aftertaste despite the 9% ABV.
