Redwell Brewing
Redwell Brewing was founded in Norwich in 2013 and today brews beneath the railway arches at Trowse, on the edge of the city, next to its own taproom and beer garden. The original company went into administration in December 2017; a group of local investors bought the brand and kept it going. The whole range is certified vegan and gluten-free, brewed in small batches with Norfolk malt and left unfiltered and unpasteurised. Steam Lager, an amber lager fermented warm, is the flagship; pale ales, a Czech-style pilsner and a stout fill out the core range, sold mainly to pubs across East Anglia.

How we measure this
Two thresholds are at work here:
- The signature list shows notes that recur in at least 6% of this brewery's beers. A low bar — enough to flag a pattern, not high enough to call it an exclusive trait.
- The peer comparison below shows only notes where this brewery's coverage differs from similar breweries by at least 20 percentage points. A higher bar — enough to call a real difference, not a nudge.
A note can appear on the signature list without appearing in the peer comparison: it recurs here, but similar breweries do the same thing.
Norwich Pilsner
Their beers place in the Top 72% of the catalogue on average, across 2 ranked beers. One clear standout well ahead of the rest.
