Modest Beer is a small independent brewery in Bangor, County Down, owned by founder and head brewer Chris Morris, a former tax accountant who works alongside his wife Lauren. It started at the end of 2019 in a converted garage in Holywood, later shared premises with another brewery near Randalstown, and since 2025 has brewed and canned in a unit off Balloo Drive, where it also sells over the counter. A short core range of hazy pale ale, IPA and pilsner sits beside rotating series in which the hop combination changes from batch to batch.
