Boulevard Brewing Company
Founded in 1989 by printmaker-turned-entrepreneur John McDonald in a turn-of-the-century brick building on Kansas City's historic Southwest Boulevard — the first keg of Pale Ale was delivered in McDonald's pickup truck to a restaurant one mile away. Boulevard grew to become the largest specialty brewer in the Midwest, joining the Duvel Moortgat family in 2014. Their Unfiltered Wheat is the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. Missouri Beer Cup Brewery of the Year with nine additional medals.
