Sixth Glass

Tap to rate

A deep, dark auburn quadrupel, full-bodied, with a sweetness the brewery calls deceptive. At 10.2% ABV and 22 IBU it is the Smokestack Series beer meant for the mature connoisseur. The name comes from Hans Christian Andersen's cautionary tale The Watchman of the Tower, where the contents of each glass grow more ominous until the sixth.
