Released for the brewery's 155th anniversary and named after Willem Geenen, who brewed his first beer in 1870 in the shed beside the linden tree the company is named for. A top-fermented quadrupel in the tradition of Belgian abbey beers, brewed with candi sugar and given an extra-long lagering in the brewery's cool cellars. Dark, with caramel, toffee, dried fig and toasted bread.
