Aroma

The nose opens with clean, fine malt character that carries weight and breadth. Dried stone fruit notes emerge alongside a delicate trace of vanilla, creating a complex but restrained aromatic profile. No aggressive hop character intrudes; instead, a subtle warming alcohol presence underscores the overall composition.

Taste

The palate is round and well-integrated, with the 7.8% alcohol providing gentle warmth rather than harsh burn. Malt sweetness dominates the mid-palate, supported by dark fruit undertones and a whisper of vanilla that persists without becoming cloying. The finish remains dry and composed, with sufficient structure to carry the beer's considerable gravity.

The finish is clean and moderately long, with malt sweetness gradually receding. A gentle alcoholic warmth and subtle dark fruit linger in the aftertaste without becoming fatiguing.
