Turf 'n Surf
A creamy tripel with a touch of smoke and sea salt: lightly salty straight from the fridge, with the subtle smoke rising as the beer warms. Only 1% of the malt is peat-smoked, as in smoky whisky, so the smoke works as flavour enhancer. It was born when two brothers toured Utrecht bars drinking only tripels; salt came from the table of the last cafe, a few drops of Islay whisky made the first prototype. Organic, with El Dorado and Magnum hops.

AI-generated sensory profile for Turf 'n Surf
Serve at 10–13°C in a goblet. The yeast character and carbonation are the stars — cold would suppress both.
The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
Drink within 2 years. Some complexity develops with age but the yeast character is best relatively fresh.
