Fun House

Netherlands·Alcohol-Free Hazy IPA
Tap to rate

Fruity citrus aromas lead, on a creamy malt base with a refined mouthfeel and almost no bitterness. Fun House is the brewery's first alcohol-free NEIPA: oats and wheat bring the creaminess, and all the hops go in at the end of the process, even straight into the fermentation tank, instead of into the kettle for bitterness. The result is an alcohol-free New England IPA built on Sabro and Mosaic hops.

◎ Appearance

Pale straw-gold in color with a distinctly hazy, opaque body characteristic of the NEIPA style. A full, pillowy white head forms readily and clings well to the glass, leaving delicate lacing as you drink. Fine carbonation creates a soft, inviting visual presence throughout.

◐ Taste

Entry is smooth and full-bodied, with oats and wheat delivering genuine creaminess rather than heaviness. Mid-palate carries forward the fruity hop character—more juice and stone fruit than resinous bitterness. The finish is remarkably clean with minimal bitterness (20 IBU), allowing the refined malt sweetness and citrus notes to linger softly.

◑ Finish

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
