◎ Appearance

Pale golden-yellow with pronounced haze throughout, characteristic of the style. The head forms thick and creamy, settling to a persistent collar with good lacing on the glass. Bright carbonation visible in steady streams, lending an inviting and lively presentation.

◌ Aroma

Yuzu citrus and stone fruit leap from the glass, supported by Motueka's distinctive melon and herbaceous notes. Underlying wheat and oat sweetness provide a soft, grainy foundation without dominating. The hop profile remains clean and defined, with no fermentation esters or oxidative character.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with a pillowy, smooth mouthfeel from wheat and oats, immediately followed by bright citrus and tropical fruit from the Alora and Motueka pairing. Moderate bitterness arrives mid-palate without harshness, balancing the fruit rather than overwhelming it. The finish turns crisp and slightly drying, allowing the hop character to linger cleanly.

◑ Finish

The aftertaste persists for several seconds with yuzu zest and a gentle astringency. Drying sensation builds gradually, leaving the palate refreshed and ready for another sip.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.
