Free Ride

◎ Appearance

Pale golden yellow with a distinctly hazy, opaque character from suspended yeast and grain proteins. A dense white head forms readily and clings to the glass with fine, persistent lacing. Bright carbonation is evident throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with classic northwest Edelhopfen character—piney, resinous notes sit alongside bright citrus peel and tropical fruit notes of mango and passionfruit. A soft, grainy sweetness from oats and wheat rounds the profile without overwhelming the hop expression.

◐ Taste

The palate opens smooth and full-bodied, the oat and wheat bill delivering a silky mouthfeel that carries stone fruit and citrus flavors forward. Bitterness builds steadily through the mid-palate—assertive but not harsh—balancing the underlying sweetness and giving the beer genuine backbone. The hop character remains layered: piney, floral, and fruity all at once.

◑ Finish

The finish is dry and moderately long, with lingering bitterness and a faint stone fruit echo. Clean and refreshing, leaving the palate ready for another sip.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
