Magic Nothing

◎ Appearance

Magic Nothing presents a pale, luminous straw color with excellent clarity and fine carbonation that sustains a delicate white head with good retention. The beer's light body is evident in its bright visual presentation, which reflects the minimal residual gravity typical of the style.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with fresh citrus and stone fruit from Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops—lime zest, white grapefruit, and gooseberry are immediately apparent. Beneath the hop character lies a subtle tropical undercurrent attributed to the fonio grain, adding a succulent fruitiness that complements rather than dominates the aromatic profile.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with crisp citrus bite from the Citra hop, followed by a more delicate white grape and green fruit character from Nelson Sauvin. A balanced, dry bitterness emerges in the mid-palate (60 IBU), held in check by restrained malt sweetness; the fonio grain contributes a gentle tropical fruit undertone without adding excessive body or cloying character.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and lingering, with citrus and herbal notes persisting on the palate. Dryness dominates the aftertaste, leaving a refreshing impression characteristic of well-executed alcohol-free IPAs.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
