Klášterní Orator

Tap to rate

A dark, bottom-fermented special brewed once a year, originally made by monks for Lent as 'liquid bread'. Caramel, bread crust, dried fruit and alcohol show in the scent; the taste is full, caramelly and malty with a harmonious boozy warmth, a bitterness that only lightly underlines it and lower carbonation. Six kinds of malt, among them the monastery malts, go into the brew.
