◎ Appearance

Hazy IPA presents a pale golden-amber body rendered opaque by suspended yeast and protein, creating a soft, cloudy appearance characteristic of the New England style. The head is substantial and persistent, with fine bubbles that cling to the glass in delicate lacing. Carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, allowing the haze to dominate without appearing flat.

◌ Aroma

The nose is immediately inviting, with bright grapefruit and tangerine citrus notes rising ahead of softer tropical fruit character—mango and passionfruit suggestions beneath. Noble hop aromatics provide floral and herbal undertones without aggressive resinous edges. The Malz base contributes only subtle sweetness, allowing the hop expression to remain the focal point.

◐ Taste

Entry is soft and juicy, with citrus pith and gentle stone fruit flavors unfolding across the mid-palate in a creamy, full-bodied presentation. Bitterness is restrained at 45 IBU, appearing as a clean, balancing backbone rather than an aggressive bite—typical of the New England approach. The finish builds smoothly without harsh alpha-acid astringency, leaving a refreshing, fruit-forward impression.

The aftertaste is clean and relatively brief, with residual grapefruit and a whisper of tropical notes fading gracefully. No harsh dry sensation lingers; instead, a gentle, refreshing quality invites the next sip.
