Zipline Brewing Co.
Zipline Brewing Co. was founded in 2012 by Marcus Powers, Tom Wilmoth, and James Gallentine in Lincoln, Nebraska, with draft beer available in November 2012 and its first taproom opening in January 2013. The name was inspired by co-founder James Gallentine's extensive travels in Latin America, where zip-line tours embody the spirit of risk-taking that the founders associated with starting a brewery. Zipline grew to about 40 employees within a few years and opened a second Zipline Beer Hall in Lincoln in November 2016. The brewery's original taproom location was temporarily closed for two years before reopening in May 2025.
