Gooisch Tripel
Golden, round and a touch honeyed: a classic tripel that skips the coriander and uses triticale instead, a wheat-rye cross grown in Laren by the Stichting Oude Landbouwgewassen Laren (SOLL), for whom the brewery makes it. The grain lends the beer its round taste. With 31 IBU and a dangerous strength, the brewery calls it a small 'Gooische moordenaar'.

Serve at 10–13°C in a goblet. The yeast character and carbonation are the stars — cold would suppress both.
The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
Drink within 2 years. Some complexity develops with age but the yeast character is best relatively fresh.
