Juxtapose presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that clings to the glass with good retention. The carbonation is brisk and visible, creating a lively visual presence that reflects its West Coast heritage.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with vibrant tropical stone fruit—mango and passionfruit—layered with bright citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine. Beneath these hop-driven aromatics sits a subtle earthy funk and yeasty wildness that adds complexity and an intriguing farmhouse character, preventing the profile from being one-dimensional.

◐ Taste

The palate leads with sweet tropical and citrus notes that immediately establish hop presence, while the wild fermentation introduces a gentle spice and peppery edge. The mid-palate remains clean and frisky despite the farmhouse yeast influence; moderate bitterness (50 IBU) arrives late and finishes dry, with hints of pine and a subtle herbal quality that grounds the fruit-forward character.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and relatively dry, with the wild yeast funk retreating slightly as the citrus and subtle pine linger in the aftertaste. The departure is crisp and refreshing, inviting further sips.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
