Beers similar to Blanche
hopIQ found 10 beers that share Blanche's banana-y and clove character. A wheat beer in the Hefeweizen mould, brewed on pilsner, wheat and carawheat malt with a single noble hop. The yeast does the talking: ripe banana and a light clove spice sit over a soft, grainy wheat base. The beer pours cloudy and finely carbonated, bitterness is barely present at 10 IBU, and what lingers is a faint bread-dough sweetness rather than anything sharp.
