Beers similar to The 86
hopIQ found 10 beers that share The 86's hazy and tropical character. The first beer brewed at the incubator, named after the tram line that runs past the Collingwood brewery. Double dry-hopped with Mosaic, Simcoe and Galaxy over a generous share of wheat and oats, it pours cloudy gold with soft aromas of pine, papaya and citrus. The grain gives a smooth, rounded body that takes the edge off the hops, and the bitterness settles in gently at the finish rather than biting.
