◎ Aussehen

ZZ IPA presents a hazy golden-amber body with pronounced turbidity from suspended hop particles and yeast. The head is dense and persistent, with fine lacing that clings to the glass as you drink. Carbonation is moderate and visible, contributing to a soft, full mouthfeel.

◌ Aroma

The nose explodes with tropical fruit and citrus intensity from Idaho 7, Citra, and Topaz hops. Layers of pineapple, mango, and grapefruit emerge first, followed by earthy, piney undertones and a distinctive herbal-dank character. Clean fermentation allows the hop profile to dominate without yeast-derived esters.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with a bold hop punch—bright citrus and stone fruit immediately coat the tongue, backed by restrained grain sweetness from the pale Malz base. Mid-palate develops an earthy bitterness and herbal depth that builds gradually; the 60 IBU feels balanced rather than aggressive at 6.5% ABV. Finish transitions to a lingering piney dryness.

◑ Abgang

The aftertaste is dry and slightly astringent, with piney and herbal notes persisting for several minutes. No harsh alcohol burn; the finish remains clean and refreshing despite the substantial hop load.
