Pale golden color with a hazy, unfiltered appearance that signals the beer's rustic character. A dense white head forms on the pour with moderate retention and fine lacing that clings to the glass. The carbonation is brisk and visible, lending visual liveliness to the body.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with ripe melon and grapefruit, anchored by a soft, tart tropical quality that prevents the fruit from becoming cloying. Beneath lies a solid pale Malz foundation—clean and slightly sweet—that grounds the hop-forward character without overwhelming it. The four Yakima Valley hops blend seamlessly into a cohesive, inviting bouquet.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is fresh and vibrant, with citrus and stone fruit immediately present on the palate. The mid-palate maintains a full, rounded body despite the assertive bitterness that builds toward the center of the mouth. The 45 IBU threshold is clearly met, delivering a drying, astringent quality that defines the West Coast profile without harsh edges.

◑ Abgang

The finish is long and persistently bitter, with grapefruit and resiny notes lingering on the tongue well after swallowing. A dry, slightly papery aftertaste underscores the hop character and invites another sip.
