Let It Happen presents a hazy golden-orange body with considerable cloudiness from both oat and wheat malt adjuncts and the London ale yeast in suspension. The head is dense and persistent, with good retention and fine Schaumkleiden down the glass. Carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, enhancing the soft, pillowy mouthfeel.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by bright Citra hop character—fresh grapefruit pith, mandarin, and stone fruit leap from the glass with a juicy, almost candied quality. Beneath the hops sits a subtle sweetness from the malt base, with a soft, yeasty undertone that adds roundness rather than funk. There is no harsh resinous edge; instead, the overall impression is clean, tropical, and inviting.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with immediate hop intensity balanced by the soft malt backbone and oat sweetness, which keeps the beer from feeling thin or aggressive despite the 80 IBU load. Mid-palate shows concentrated Citra notes—tangerine, lemon zest, and subtle passion fruit—with the London yeast adding a natural juiciness that amplifies fruitiness. Bitterness builds gradually and finishes dry but not astringent, allowing the hop character to dominate without metallic or overly piney tones.

The finish is clean and moderately long, with lingering citrus and a subtle drying effect from the hops. Aftertaste remains fruit-forward, without any harsh bitterness or harsh alcohol burn despite the 8% ABV.
