All The Leaves Are Brown

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with cocoa and roasted chocolate from the specialty malts, followed by distinct maple syrup sweetness from the Canadian adjunct fermentation. Supporting notes of caramel and treacle emerge from the brewery's house yeast character, building a layered and inviting aromatic profile. The overall impression is dessert-like without being cloying.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with pronounced sweetness and sticky malt richness that coats the mouth throughout. Chocolate and maple notes integrate with residual caramel from the Golden Promise and Munich malts, creating a full-bodied, smooth drinking experience. Bitterness remains restrained at 35 IBU, allowing malt character to dominate; the warming alcohol (10.5% ABV) becomes noticeable mid-palate without harsh edges.

A lingering, semi-dry finish with persistent chocolate and maple notes that fade gradually. The 10.5% ABV adds a gentle heat to the aftertaste without overwhelming the beer's sweet, earthy foundation.
