Freewheelin' Hazy NZ IPA

◎ Aussehen

Pale golden hue with a distinctly hazy, turbid body from suspended yeast and hop matter. The dense, creamy white head forms readily and clings to the glass with good retention. Fine carbonation creates an effervescent quality appropriate to the style.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright citrus notes of fresh grapefruit and Meyer lemon, followed by supporting tropical fruit character and hints of juicy stone fruit. Light Munich malt provides a soft, grainy foundation that does not compete with the hop-driven aromatics. New Zealand Cascade and Riwaka varieties deliver a clean, lifted profile without harsh herbaceous edges.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with a clean, juicy entry that emphasizes citrus and stone fruit sweetness from the kumquat and nectarine character. Mid-palate remains soft and approachable, with the malt providing gentle body without heaviness. Bitterness arrives moderate and well-integrated at 50 IBU, finishing clean without astringency or lingering harshness.
