◌ Aroma

The nose opens with roasted malt and dark chocolate, underscored by tar and smoke. Whisky barrel influence emerges gradually—vanilla oak, caramel, and a subtle spice that distinguishes this from its bourbon-aged counterpart. The alcohol warmth is present but integrated, suggesting maturity in the wood.

◐ Geschmack

The palate is full-bodied and velvety, delivering roasted grain and chocolate with a supporting note of dark fruit. Barrel-aged vanilla and oak develop across the mid-palate, while warming spice builds gradually. The finish dries subtly, with the alcohol providing a gentle heat that extends the experience without harsh edges.

The aftertaste is long and lingering, with residual chocolate and oak giving way to a pleasant warming sensation. Alcohol presence becomes more apparent in the final moments, reinforcing the beer's imperial stature.
