Fresh Hop Chop presents a pale golden hue with visible haze from suspended matter, a hallmark of wet-hop brewing. The head is substantial and retains well, clinging to the glass with fine lacing. Carbonation appears lively throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by fresh citrus and passionfruit notes from the undried Galaxy hops, with a pronounced grassy and herbal character that fades slightly as the beer warms. Beneath lies a subtle pine and resinous layer, with soft malt undertones providing balance. The intensity is most pronounced when the beer is young, making this a beer best enjoyed fresh.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with bright citrus and tropical fruit, immediately followed by a grassy, green-hop bite that fills the mid-palate with herbal pine and sticky resin notes. The supporting malt base provides gentle sweetness and structure without overwhelming the hop-forward character. Bitterness builds gradually and closes cleanly, neither sharp nor lingering excessively.

◑ Abgang

The finish is crisp and moderately dry, with the herbal grassiness and pine fading to a clean, slightly bitter aftertaste. The overall length is medium, allowing the fresh-hop character to linger without fatigue.

Gut gekühlt servieren. Session IPAs sind am besten kalt — der niedrigere Alkohol bedeutet weniger Wärme zur Balance der Hopfen.

Die geschwungene Form konzentriert Hopfenaromen und hält den Schaum. Unverzichtbar für aromatische Ales und IPAs, bei denen die Nase die halbe Erfahrung ist.
