Windjammer presents a golden copper hue with a light hop haze that catches the light with subtle depth. A firm off-white head forms and retains well, showing fine carbonation throughout. The clarity suggests a thoughtfully dry-hopped ale rather than a heavily filtered one.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with bright lychee and candied orange notes, layered over dried mango and resinous pine—characteristic of the Australian and American hop blend used throughout the brew. A light caramel malt foundation sits beneath, providing subtle sweetness without overshadowing the aromatic profile.

◐ Geschmack

The palate balances a delicate malty sweetness against a firm, clean bitterness that builds steadily. The tropical and citrus notes from the aroma carry through the mid-palate with a piney, resinous character. Bitterness dominates the finish but remains integrated, never harsh or astringent.

◑ Abgang

The bitterness extends into a long, lingering finish that fades gradually without leaving an unpleasant drying sensation. The aftertaste remains clean and hop-forward, inviting another sip.

Gut gekühlt servieren. Session IPAs sind am besten kalt — der niedrigere Alkohol bedeutet weniger Wärme zur Balance der Hopfen.
