◎ Aussehen

Deep black-brown with an opaque, impenetrable core, characteristic of a fully matured Imperial Stout. The head is dense and persistent, showing good adhesion to the glass. Low carbonation supports a rich, creamy presentation befitting the spirit-aged character.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with toasted grain and dark roast, immediately grounded in the malt rather than perfumed by oak. Espresso and cocoa emerge from beneath, with whisky warmth threading through dried fruit undertones. Vanilla and light wood tannins sit deep in the background, integrated rather than assertive.

◐ Geschmack

The palate is full and structured, opening with roasted malt and coffee that hold the center stage throughout. Whisky and vanilla develop gradually across the mid-palate, supported by a light oak tannin that dries without harsh edges. At 11.6% ABV, sweetness is noticeable but balanced, with chocolate notes rounding the overall profile.

◑ Abgang

The finish extends long and warming, driven by residual spirit heat and gentle oak structure. Toasted malt and coffee linger pleasantly, fading into a subtle cocoa and dry oak aftertaste.

Etwas wärmer als erwartet. 10–13°C lässt die gerösteten Malz-, Schokoladen- und Kaffeenoten vollständig entfalten.
