Deep garnet to near-black hue with a semi-transparent quality that reveals burgundy tones at the edges when backlit. A modest tan head forms initially, settling to a thin collar with moderate lacing. Carbonation appears restrained, creating a still, contemplative visual presence.

◌ Aroma

A layered nose opens with bright citrus and white grape notes, undercut by pine resin and herbaceous hop character. Beneath the hop-driven top notes lie deeper roasted malt tones—dark chocolate and coffee—that ground the profile without overwhelming the fresher aromatics. The combination suggests both restraint and complexity.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is full-bodied and immediate, with roasted grain and chocolate anchoring the palate. Mid-palate develops piney, citric hop bitterness that intertwines with coffee notes and a lingering cocoa warmth. Wheat and oat adjuncts build roundness and mouthfeel, preventing the roast and hops from becoming harsh or one-dimensional.

Dry and warming, with bitterness deriving equally from hop resin and roasted malt character. The aftertaste carries cocoa and a subtle hop bite into a clean, sustained fade.
