A jet-black brew with minimal light transmission, crowned by a tan head of moderate density that leaves fine lacing on the glass. The carbonation is assertive, creating steady streams of fine bubbles that sustain the foam structure throughout the pour.

◌ Aroma

Pine and grapefruit notes from American hops dominate the nose, layered over dark chocolate and espresso undertones from the roasted Malz base. A subtle smokiness and hint of dark berry round out the composition, creating a complex and inviting bouquet that balances brightness with roasted depth.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with assertive hop bitterness and citrus snap, immediately met by roasted malt flavors—chocolate, coffee, and subtle smoke. The full body carries both the resinous punch of the hops and the dark, earthy backbone equally through the mid-palate, neither surrendering ground to the other.

A persistent, dry finish where both the hop bite and roasted malt character linger without one overpowering the other. The aftertaste holds traces of pine resin and dark chocolate with a lingering espresso note.
