Amber-gold in colour with excellent clarity and a persistent off-white head that clings to the glass with fine lacing. The carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, allowing the wine-influenced character to express itself without excessive effervescence. The head retention speaks to both the malt foundation and the tannins contributed by the Ribolla Gialla must.

◌ Aroma

The nose is layered and vinous, dominated by white stone fruit and ripe orchard notes typical of Ribolla Gialla. Beneath lies a subtle earthy minerality and a wild, funky undertone—suggestions of hay and fermentation complexity—complemented by quiet oak and herbaceous whispers that anchor the experience in the Friulian terroir.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is smooth and balanced, with pleasant sourness from the grape sugars interplaying harmoniously against the pale malt base. Mid-palate reveals mineral dryness and a subtle herbal character that mirrors the aromatic profile. The finish is clean and intriguingly complex, with residual tannins and acidity driving toward a dry, lingering conclusion.

The aftertaste is long and evolving, leaving behind dry tannins, mineral notes, and a faint funky edge that encourages another sip. The complexity persists without heaviness, a hallmark of well-integrated grape fermentation.
