Devil's Harvest IPA

◎ Aussehen

A pale golden hue with a ghostly haze throughout the body, derived from oat adjuncts in the grist. The head forms with moderate density and exhibits good retention, laying down a delicate lacing as the beer is consumed. Effervescence is lively and sustained, typical of a well-carbonated session IPA.

◌ Aroma

Bright citrus dominates immediately, with grapefruit leading the charge—sharp, juicy, and unmistakably Citra in character. Mosaic contributes softer tropical notes in the background: hints of stone fruit and subtle floral elements. The nose is clean and hop-forward with no prominent malt sweetness or yeast funk to distract from the aromatic profile.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters smooth and juicy, with that same grapefruit character establishing itself immediately without harshness. Mid-palate develops a subtle tropical sweetness and stone-fruit depth from the dry-hop blend, while the oat adjuncts provide a silky mouthfeel that masks the underlying bitterness. Bitterness is notably restrained—whirlpool additions rather than kettle bittering keep the beer crushable and quaffable despite its hoppy profile.

The finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering citrus notes that fade gradually without astringency. The low perceived bitterness allows residual tropical fruit to carry through to the very end, leaving the drinker wanting another sip.
