Crank Zero presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that leaves consistent lacing down the glass. The carbonation is lively and well-integrated, creating a visually inviting presentation typical of quality hoppy beers.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by resinous pine and woody hop character from the Centennial and Simcoe varieties, layered with bright citrus notes from Citra and Ekuanot. A clean malty foundation emerges beneath, with subtle grainy sweetness from the Voodoo and wheat components, creating a balanced aromatic profile without any yeast-derived or off-note characteristics.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is crisp and hoppy, delivering the promised resinous and piney character across the palate with juicy citrus notes that develop mid-sip. The fuller body—achieved through Voodoo malt and rolled wheat—provides a substantial mouthfeel unusual for alcohol-free beers, while 31 IBU supplies meaningful bitterness that integrates well rather than dominating or thinning the beer.

The finish is dry and lingers with residual hop bitterness and subtle piney notes, leaving the palate refreshed without astringency. The moderate length and clean exit make this approachable despite its assertive hop character.
