A pale amber hue with excellent clarity and a delicate, fine-grained head. The carbonation is refined, producing a soft mousse rather than aggressive bubbling. Lacing clings gently to the glass in thin, persistent strands.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with dark berry fruit—calafate's jammy sweetness prominent but not cloying—layered beneath soft forest-like tones from lenga wood maceration. A subtle toasted caramel note and faint smokiness emerge on deeper sniffs, with no aggressive barrel character, keeping the wood influence integrated and understated.

◐ Geschmack

Calafate sweetness arrives cleanly on entry, rounded by the woody base without becoming drying. The mid-palate develops toasted caramel and a whisper of forest character from the lenga, while a gentle acidity provides lift. Moderate bitterness—around 10 IBU—holds the fruit sweetness in balance without dominance, and the medium body carries all elements with composure.

◑ Abgang

The finish is clean and relatively short, fading with a lingering whisper of berry and wood ash. No harsh tannins or astringency persist; the aftertaste is slightly dry and contemplative.
