Aalis Reserva presents an opaque black body with no light penetration, characteristic of the style's deep color profile. The head is minimal and dissipates quickly, consistent with light carbonation and the beer's full, velvety density. Lacing clings delicately to the glass in thin, ephemeral traces.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by assertive bourbon character, lifted by warming alcohol at 13% ABV. Supporting notes of coconut, vanilla, and cocoa emerge beneath, with hints of toffee and caramel adding depth. The wood aging has thoroughly integrated with the malt base, creating a harmonious, spirit-forward bouquet.

Entry brings substantial body with velvety mouthfeel and restrained carbonation. The palate unfolds with pronounced bourbon and oak flavors in the mid-palate, complemented by cocoa powder, toffee, and light vanilla sweetness. Moderate bitterness (50 IBU) provides structure without aggression, allowing the spirit character to remain primary.
