Wolfshöher is a family brewery in Neunkirchen am Sand in Middle Franconia, east of Nuremberg. The Wolf family built it in 1872; in 1882 the Nuremberg brewer Jean Weber bought it out of bankruptcy, and his family now runs it in the fourth generation. In the late 1970s it was the first brewery in northern Bavaria to fill kegs, and it later took over Brauhaus Forchheim and the Fröhlich brewery. Hops come from the Hallertau and Hersbruck, malt from Franconia, the Altmühltal and the Upper Palatinate, water from a 125-metre well.
