Ad man Markus Führer turned a brewing hobby into a passion, and in March 2014 into the Gablitzer Privatbrauerei in Purkersdorf, in the Vienna Woods. He composes his own recipes from high-quality malts and hops and fills every bottle and keg by hand. Nothing is pasteurised or filtered, and each beer matures at least six weeks, stronger ones up to half a year or more. Since 2024 there is the brand extension Purkersdorfer Stadtbrauerei. His motto: "Alles andere ist nicht mein Bier."
