Bier Factory began in 2000 in Rapperswil-Jona on Lake Zurich, with a few kettles and the idea that good beer should be made where it is drunk. The brewery works by hand in small batches to its own recipes, and every beer is brewed at the same address. A new brewhouse and taproom followed in 2026, where the range is on tap on Thursdays and Fridays. Output is around 80,000 litres a year, with six core beers.
