Lurrie Tripel
Fruity, with 8.1% ABV: Lurrie Tripel is where it all began for Stadsbroewerie Remunj. The first 20 litres came out of a workshop at Nanobrewery Flores in Venlo in March 2018, and a year later the first 1,000-litre batch was brewed in Weert. The name nods to Big Benny's lurrie, as the brewery's own lineup puts it.

Serve at 10–13°C in a goblet. The yeast character and carbonation are the stars — cold would suppress both.
The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
Drink within 2 years. Some complexity develops with age but the yeast character is best relatively fresh.
