Summer Pils

Tap to rate

A golden Munich-style Helles with a delicate sweet malt taste, an abundant hop aroma and flavor, a nutty note from the German pils malt and a spicy finish from Czech Saaz alongside Hersbrucker. It started in 1997 as Summerfest until a naming dispute with Sierra Nevada led to the switch, and it was the brewery's first lager recipe, adjusted almost every year until 2006. At 4.9% ABV it earned silver at GABF 2013.
