Rodenbach Red Tripel
Rodenbach's 200th anniversary beer follows the age-old blending of young and old: a young tripel is combined with a foeder beer that has matured for two years in wood. The result is slightly sour, malty and fruity, with a wood-aged character, at 8.2 % alcohol, brewed at the Roeselare brewery founded in 1821.

Serve at 10–13°C in a goblet. The yeast character and carbonation are the stars — cold would suppress both.
The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
Drink within 2 years. Some complexity develops with age but the yeast character is best relatively fresh.
