Inferno

Tap to rate

Introduced as a seasonal in 2004 and made permanent in 2008, Inferno is a light golden blonde ale hopped with five Yakima Valley varieties: Sterling, Amarillo, Centennial, Cascade and Chinook. Grapefruit, lemon and orange zest dominate the aroma, with tropical fruit behind and a grassy, lightly resinous edge. The palate is clean and fairly dry, the pale malt and wheat stay in the background, and the finish is crisp with a moderate bitterness. Cask strength is 4.0 %, the bottle 4.4 %.
