Mo' Onions

◎ Appearance

Mo' Onions presents a hazy golden-amber body with excellent turbidity, characteristic of the style. A soft, pillowy white head forms and clings to the glass with fine Schaumkleiden. The beer displays moderate carbonation appropriate to its full body and hoppy profile.

◌ Aroma

The nose is immediately distinctive and layered. Fresh allium and caramelized onion notes emerge prominently alongside herbal green character, underpinned by ripe tropical fruit, mango, and bright citrus zest. The savory hop character does not overwhelm; instead, it weaves cohesively through the fruit-forward foundation.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with juicy stone fruit and mango, establishing a fruit-driven entry. The mid-palate reveals the beer's defining character: that curious onion-forward umami complexity reasserts itself, adding textural depth and savory tension. Moderate bitterness integrates cleanly, supporting rather than dominating the interplay of fruit and savory notes.

The finish is dry and slightly savory, with the onion character lingering subtly rather than fading abruptly. A gentle herbal and citrus dryness extends the aftertaste, leaving curiosity and a desire to revisit the experience.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
