The carbonation is moderate and persistent, creating fine bubbles that rise steadily through the glass. Head retention is modest but stable, with a delicate white foam that leaves a faint lacing on the glass wall.

The nose is immediately dominated by tart cranberry and bright red berry notes, layered beneath with a darker, more muted blackcurrant undertone. No perceptible hop or grain aroma intrudes; the fruit character is clean and forward. A slight vinous quality reinforces the sour foundation without becoming acetous.

The palate opens with a tart, fruit-forward attack that reads more like sour candy than wine-like acidity—approachable and playful rather than austere.
