🌍 Germany · Helles Lager · One of 219 Helles Lagers in hopIQ

A reduced-alcohol Helles with about 30 per cent less alcohol than the brewery's Bio Hell, brewed from an original gravity of 8.0 °Plato. It is a glossy straw yellow under a fine, snow-white head. The nose offers delicate malt aromas of fresh bread and cereal, with subtle citrus-like notes from the whole-cone hops. On the palate it is refreshing and lightly malty, slimmer in body than a full-strength Helles, and the finish carries a pleasant, gently bitter hop note that keeps it crisp. It is the lightest beer in the brewery's bottom-fermented range.
