◎ Appearance

Paradise pours an opaque pale gold beneath a persistent, creamy head that clings to the glass with good retention. The haze speaks to the substantial oat and milk sugar load, creating an intentionally cloudy presentation characteristic of the milkshake IPA style. Carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, supporting the dense foam structure.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright tropical notes—ripe pineapple and tangerine from the Citra and Galaxy hops, followed by distinct coconut character from Sabro. A sweeter mango undertone emerges as the beer warms, adding depth to the hop profile. The oat cream base provides a soft, grain-forward backdrop without asserting bready or cereal notes.

◐ Taste

On the palate, creamy oat texture dominates immediately, delivering that velvet mouthfeel promised in the style. Tropical fruit punch unfolds mid-palate—juicy pineapple and tangerine supported by subtle mango sweetness—while the milk sugar rounds every edge. Bitterness remains restrained throughout, allowing the fruit and cream to occupy the foreground without hop bite or astringency.

The finish is smooth and lingering, with creamy sweetness persisting gently on the palate. Tropical fruit notes fade to a soft, milky residue that invites another sip rather than leaving any harsh aftertaste.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
