Hubertus Märzen

Tap to rate

Mildly hopped and pleasantly malty, with a touch of malt sweetness: the Märzen is the Hubertus classic. It is hopped with Hallertauer Hersbrucker, and the malt comes from Lower Austria and Burgenland. The 'green' Märzen has a backstory: about twenty years ago it grew out of the red-labelled Hubertus Lager. Brewed the classic way in Laa an der Thaya, with a cold-led main fermentation and plenty of time in the lagering cellar.
