Ireland·Imperial Red Ale
Tap to rate

Hope Red Ale is a strong red ale at 7.0% that sets the malt character of the Irish style against American hops. It pours a deep ruby. El Dorado and Citra in the dry hop give an aroma of tropical and citrus fruit, with caramel malt underneath. The flavour moves between caramel and toast from several dark malts and roasted barley, backed by a robust bitterness, and finishes on pineapple, grapefruit and watermelon. A slight alcohol warmth lingers. It was released as number 38 in the Limited Edition series.
